The Llantrisant club was founded in 1998 by Sensei Jeff Evans. Since then, many students have passed through its doors and enjoyed learning the very practical martial art of Ju-jitsu.
Ju-jitsu is a very old and traditional martial art that has been developed over thousands of years. Ju-jitsu exploits how body mechanics works and how it can be applied by all, no matter what size, physical ability, or fitness level, it is available to all. The club is very family orientated with training conducted in a friendly manner where all support each other. Jeff’s daughter Janine is also an instructor at the class starting her training from the age of 8 years.
The club is non competitive and is supported by a number of instructors who all enjoy the friendly atmosphere present in the classes. There is a syllabus for all students to follow if they wish to progress through the kyu grades and get to the dizzy heights of Black belt;- as long as they pass 6 monthly assessments.
You will find us at Llantrisant leisure centre in the dojo on the 4th floor.
Please refer to the map for the location of the Leisure Centre.
For a prompt start, we encourage students to arrive 15 minutes before the class starts and students to bring a drink or fruit for a short break after a warm up. There is also a cold water fountain in the dojo if needed.
