Red Belt [6th Kyu]

This is your first Belt. We hope to give you a solid foundation to allow you to progress quickly to the next belt. Your training for this belt should focus on the discipline of your body.

Unless you have trained a martial art previously, at this point your body will not be familiar with many of the movements you will be asked to do. In most cases your body will resist. By achieving this belt your instructor is indicating your body is able to achieve structured movement.
